Dr. Jones has been a practicing veterinarian for over 25 years. His special interests are general surgery, endoscopy, oncology and internal medicine. Over the years Dr. Jones has established a loyal clientele.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude from University of California, Davis in 1972 and his Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1974. He began practicing at a multi-doctor hospital in Los Altos for 2 years before opening his own practice in Los Altos in 1976. Dr. Jones taught veterinarian technicians during 1980’s at the Lawton School. With a growing practice, Dr. Jones needed to find a location that would allow him to expand. He built the current location in Cupertino in 1984 with the vision that would allow patients, clients and staff to move efficiently. In addition to his busy practice Dr. Jones believes in staying involved with the children in the community. He has participated in Discovery Days and Career Days at Regnart and Dilworth School for many years. His son Andrew, who worked at Acadia as a veterinarian, received his specialty degree in radiology from University California of Davis in 2004. Dr. Donald Jones lives in Cupertino with his wife and children. His family also consists of his 2 dogs and 2 cats. He enjoys playing tennis and dirt bike trail riding.

Our qualified technical staff includes Charles, Kim, Lauren, and Mike. These nurses monitor anesthesia, draw blood, give injections and nurse your pets back to health while in our hospital. They work efficiently and handle your pets with loving care and compassion.
At the front office you will be greeted with a smile by Holly and Joanna. They will get you checked in and out of your appointments, schedule appointments and help you get all your questions answered.
